Managing Director – Hannah Saxton
This is Hannah. She’s our MD and the brains behind MyChocolate.
Hannah’s story is a stirring mix of entrepreneur and Chocolatier.
Taking a gamble (and against every bit of advice from family and friends), Hannah left university early and, using her saved-up student loan, set up MyChocolate. Along the way she read every available book on business and chocolate, becoming something of an expert in both.
In the early days clients enjoyed chocolate-making events held in Hannah’s tiny flat in Shepherd’s Bush. Meanwhile, she spent every evening waitressing to make ends meet.
Eight years on – success! MyChocolate operates from the distinctive kitchens Hannah has created in the heart of London, employs a team of 20 and has embarked on a new partnership with chocolate makers Green & Black’s.
Now a mentor to young entrepreneurs, with her passion and determination for the business to flourish as high as ever, we wonder what Hannah has up her sleeve for the future. Whatever it is, we just know it’ll be good…
Office Team
Operations Manager – Emma Knipe
Emma has the sort of attention to detail that makes grown wedding-planners weep.
She remembers every last thing and can be summed up in one word: ‘meticulous’. We realise this sounds a little scary, but she’s not – she’s really really nice.
Bookings Manager – Kate Marney
Marvellous Kate is likely to be your first contact with MyChocolate and we know you’ll find her friendly and well-organised. She’ll run through all the options and recommend the perfect event for you. Her down-to-earth honest approach means you’ll be getting the best advice.
Marketing and Press Officer – Elliot Zissman
Committed to getting the word out about MyChocolate; if you came to our offices you’ll be sure to see that he’s certainly got no problem getting his words out!
Workshop Teachers and Assistants
Toni
So witty we sometimes wonder why she’s making chocolates with our city clients when she could be doing stand-up at the Apollo.
