Where are the workshops held?
London
The MyChocolate London workshop rooms are at Unit B1, located in the basement of Hatton Square Business Centre on Baldwins Gardens. Note, we do not have a shop front so don't get confused! Type 'B', '1' and then 'Enter' into the keyboard by the front door, and one of our staff will buzz you in. Follow the signs for MyChocolate, heading downstairs. The stairway down to our workshop rooms is rather functional looking, but be assured that our actual premises are charmingly decorated and wonderfully chocolatey!

Tube: Chancery Lane Tube Station (Central Line) and Farringdon Tube Station (Hammersmith & City, Circle & Metropolitan Lines) are both only a short walk from MyChocolate.
Buses: From Central London, Bus 42 and 25 go to Chancery Lane Station. Bus 55 goes to Rosebury Avenue/Clerkenwell Road.
Car: Free street parking is available on Saturday after 1.30pm and all day Sunday. There is a National Car Park approx 5 minutes from our premises.

By Rail: The hotel is approx. 5 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. From the station, follow Piccadilly round to Portland Street and the Thistle Hotel will be on your right hand side.
By Road: Leave M6 motorway at junction 19 and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A556. Continue on the A556 and then join the M56, until this becomes the A5103. Follow the signs for Manchester City Centre. Turn right onto the B6469/Whitworth Street West. Bear left onto Aytoun Street. Right onto Portland Street and you will see the hotel on your right.
Parking: NCP Grand on Hope Street, just around the corner from the hotel.

We run the workshops on Sundays at 10:30, 14:30 and 18:30.

What happens at a MyChocolate workshop?
After arriving at our 1950s-style vintage kitchens and greeted by a Master Chocolatier, you will be guided through the fascinating history of chocolate and the process of bean to bar with plenty of tasters along the way. Learn how to taste and recognise good and bad chocolate and then discover how to make fresh dark chocolate truffles from raw ingredients. Cut, dip and decorate chocolates to your heart's content, ready to take home a generous amount in ribbon-tied parcels.
Please allow up to 2.5 hours for the workshop.
What time do I need to arrive?
You will need to arrive 10 minutes before your workshop begins. The workshop start times are 10:30, 14:30 and 18:30. We have limited waiting space so please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your workshop.

How do I buy a Gift Voucher?
Please contact us on 020 7269 5760 or info@MyChocolate.co.uk. Gift Vouchers are priced at £49 per person. The Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
What do I need to bring to the workshop with me?
All you will need to bring is your booking confirmation and your voucher, if applicable. You will be prompted to print your confirmation details once payment has been successful.
We provide aprons for you so we just suggest that you wear sleeves that you are able to roll up.
Is the class suitable for children?
We generally state that the class may be unsuitable for children under the age of 10. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Can I cancel or reschedule my workshop?
Unfortunately absolutely no refunds or rescheduling can be offered less than two weeks before the workshop date. However, you are able to send someone in your place without consulting us, provided they have the necessary voucher(s) and/or booking confirmation. No refunds are offered for cancellation of Individual bookings or bookings made using a voucher.
If your workshop is more than two weeks away and you wish to alter the date and/or time of your workshop, please contact the office on 020 7269 5760 or info@MyChocolate.co.uk. Please note that while we will do our best to accommodate any changes, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to change the time and/or date of your workshop.
Subject to our terms and conditions (please see website) you may send someone in your place to attend the course.
Kindly note that vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiration date. You must book and take your experience before the voucher expiry date.
I have a nut allergy, should I still come along?
There may be traces of nuts in all of our recipes. However, we can offer nut-free options. If you have a nut allergy, please contact the MyChocolate office on 020 7269 5760 or info@MyChocolate.co.uk after you have booked your workshop. Please provide details of the date and time of your workshop and we will prepare nut-free recipes for you!
