Amaretto Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Whipped cream, smooth chocolate and sticky Amaretto are blended together to make this sweet sauce the perfect accompaniment to any desert.

Pour it over cool ice-cream, steaming hot puddings or anything else you can think of… be as wicked as you like!

120ml whipping cream
230g dark chocolate, chopped (we recommend that you use at least 70% cocoa solids)
2 tbsp Amaretto. Or experiment with other liqueurs. How about Irish cream, whiskey or brandy?

Bring cream to a simmer in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate until it is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Swirl in the liqueur. Serve hot or chilled.
