The epitome of luxury, our Golden Divine Chocolate Making workshop is truly sumptuous, reflecting the quality of the chocolate and ethics of Divine in supporting its farmers. You will gain an insight into the process of fair trade chocolate, tasting indulgent caramel and divine chocolate truffles along the way.
History and Tasting
Master Chocolatiers will guide you through the exotic origins of chocolate, learning about the Mayans and the seductive qualities possessed by chocolate. You will sample tasters ranging from creamy milk chocolate to sumptuous dark chocolate and caramel.
The chocolate making begins using bowls of melted Divine milk and dark chocolate to make delicate chocolate buttons. You’ll be decorating your buttons with gold Divine transfers with the Adinkra symbols, learning about their meanings along the way.
Our Master Chocolatiers will show you how to make fresh cream ganache truffles, rolling them in the traditional way, but with a twist! Conventionally rolled in cocoa powder, you will roll your truffles in lavish gold dust. You can also dip and decorate your truffles with a speck of gold leaf, making these treats something to truly savour.
To finish the workshop, you’ll receive gold boxes and ribbon to package up your handmade treats, making them the perfect gift or a treat to cherish at home.
